Frank “The Taxman” Brunn is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who began his journey in public service in 1975. After completing his military service in 1981, he chose to plant roots in Melbourne, Florida, where he built a career focused on helping people navigate the complexities of the U.S. tax system.

In 1986, Frank founded Florida Capital Development Corp., laying the foundation for what would become one of the most trusted tax firms in Brevard County. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1990 and has been providing professional tax services ever since.

Frank has served on the Melbourne Code Enforcement Board and remains deeply involved in the local community. Over the years, he has advanced his expertise by earning two of the highest professional designations available to tax professionals:

What is an Enrolled Agent (EA)?

An Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. EAs are one of only three types of tax professionals—alongside CPAs and attorneys—authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS in matters such as audits, collections, and appeals.

To earn the EA designation, tax professionals must pass a rigorous examination and undergo a thorough background check conducted by the IRS. Enrolled Agents are held to strict ethical standards and are required to complete at least 72 hours of continuing education every three years to maintain their status.
